As I read the description I didn't think it would be anything more than another Paddle Ball clone but this definitely was different and unique. Nice job getting the file size down so far, that's damn tiny.

No point making a game if you don't have an original(ish) concept. =)
Thanks for the review.

This is beautiful. You are beautiful. I gotta see more.
I bought the CD after I heard this song and I can't wait to see more. I love it.
Keep it up, Chris. You are the man.

I can't say enough about this movie. The storyline is creatively playful and the animation is absolutely stunning. I've said plenty about it on the forums but the magical storyline you have created here really is enchanting. I love escaping to the Brackenwood world and you've created such an in depth land it feels entirely possible to go there.
I love your stories and I can't wait to see what you have next. Keep it up Adam, you really are a genius in the animation field and you have been breaking boundaries for just about ever it seems. Thank you.

Let me start by saying I only review movies that deserve reviews. This movie was fantastically thought out in every aspect. It's such a sad story but there really is a lot of life to it and I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. Keep it up Jazza, this work really is impressive.
I look forward to seeing more.

This collab is unique for the sole reason that I have not seen this many fantastic collab pieces in one place in a long time. One after another they ceased to amaze me. Congratulations to all of those that put their time and effort into this and congratulations to the collab starter and the person who ran it for having yet again another successful run.
My favorite piece was the rotoscoped breakdancer. The animation an absolute beauty and it was a pleasure to watch.

I look forward to more!

I only review those movies which I can clearly tell the author put his heart into. I am a huge fan of zombie and zombie based movies and even moreso those about life after "the end of the world." Movie taking place in a post apocalyptic world intrigue me so much. While I can't justly explain why, I think this sort of captures that disparity feeling.
Of course there isn't much one can convey in such a short movie but what you have is indeed powerful and frightening. Like another reviewer said I would love to know more and if more isn't coming I can only conclude that they are in the same situation is the characters in the beginning of 28 Weeks Later.
Either way, you have captures the frightening aspects of a zombie invasion very well and in a clear frightening way. Your art and animation skills are impressive and I urge you to keep it up. Fantastic job, and good luck in the future.

I'm the same exact way, I love that post apocalyptic feel.
I'm happy you took it the exact way I hoped it would be taken.
Thank you very much

"This Flash stands at #1 on my favorites list..."
This Flash stands at #1 on my favorites list for a reason. I absolutely love it to pieces. But herein lies the question, why? I am not a particularly large fan of anime-esque pieces, neither do I think these drawings are particularly fantastic.
There is something about this piece that I cannot get enough of. I say with full confidence that I have watched this single animation more than any other on Newgrounds. I always come back to it, and love every minute of it. I suppose it's the combination of the sound track (while not my favorite, Franz Ferdinand does know how to rock it...even with often times terrible lyrics) and the animation style. That's what it is! Style! This piece works in every way with that you have done. The sometimes crude animations are contradicted by the fluid and fast action scene animations.
The story line, is touching in a way. Sure, it's your generic cliche and cheezy love story, but there seems to be more in it. Why does he long for her so bad? Who is she? Does he know her? It becomes clear in end that she longs for him as much as he is interested in her. maybe it's becuase he proved himself following her as far as he did. Which suggests she's a tease, or maybe just someone who doesn't want any man, but someone willing to overcome obstacles to be with her.
I'm delving too deep, but all in all, I love this piece. So much in face, I'm devoting the next 3 months of my entire Flash work to a remake of this piece. It'll be using the same song, and roughly the same story line. The main character will be the same, with a much more defined personality and a richer history. She will be different, and the setting will be in a train station, but with a Big Brother oppressive feel to it. I can't wait.
Thanks Bro. I love what you've done. I love all your stuff.

I had to download the sond by Blind Guardian after watching this. I actually first saw the Remake by PoxPower, and I had to have the song. I really enjoyed the contrast between this and the remake. Of course, all of the art and ideas were based of this, which in turn makes it more unique, although I believe the art in the Remake was better.
Keep up the good work, I hope you havn't left NG for ever, and I hope you continue to make amazing pieces of flash while using great songs.
Excellent Flash, again. ^_^+

Not one of your game ideas is dull or boring. How the hell do you keep them so addicting?!
Fucking great job NB, I love this one. So simple, and so effective. I love the stuff people make out of bordem, I do it all the time and people usually enjoy, no matter how simple or weird it is.
Heh, great idea again, keep it up.

Nice work, definitly worth of Front Page and Daily feature. My only suggest would be for the next one, make it so when the first four guys start out, they help eachother out more and don't all die off as quickly as they did.
The whole movie was pretty much one Lemming, and that kinda of made it lame, I really enjoyed in the beginning how the wouls support eachother, and their reactions changes when one of them would die. Definitly an interesting Idea you got going here, and I am looking forward to Lemmings Two.
You also had a nice mechanical background also. I love the black and white on red, very cool stuff. Simple, but effective.
I'd say, as one last thing, work on your character designs, while ovals and squarish shapes are easy, it isn't very good eye candy. Work on that, and this could be great.
Keep it up.

Guess what? As I mentioned in the comments, I started production of Lemmings 2 today. Four blue lemmings invade a red lemming headquarters, helping eachother in a variety of tandem moves (i.e. boosting, ect.) to get revenge on the red lemming oppresors. and yes, im improving the graphics a bit
